We’re in that final leg of the year. The one that always seems to slip away so quickly! It’s the holiday season that’s sandwiched between Thanksgiving and New Years and every year it seems to go by faster & faster. There are happy hours, shopping for loved ones and holiday parties that don’t seem to stop. This outfit is a winter-inspired look that is perfect for a day to night transition! I love layering different prints or textures and that’s why I prefer fashions in the fall and winter seasons! This holiday season gives the gift of a perfect fit with Bonobos. They have some of my favorite garments because of how great the fit on all their items are!
During the day, this casual look is right up my alley. The base garments are a Fair Isle Crew Neck Sweater that features a diamond + snowflake-inspired print across the chest. I’m such a fan of a crew neck sweater and it’s generally what I’m wearing from about October through March! I paired that with a pair of Bonobos’ Corduroy 5-pocket Pants in Grey Brown. Corduroy is one of my favorite fabrics to match within the winter months. It’s the perfect weight and texture and this Grey-Brown color is SO good. It’s a shade of pants I didn’t have and didn’t know I needed, but it works with my whole winter wardrobe!
For my more casual day outfit, I threw on the Moleskin Shirt from Bonobos. It’s a work shirt that is a great weight and 100% cotton and features a fun winter wonderland print of vintage mountain scenery and is as cozy as it looks! This is a simple transition, but after I’ve been running around all day and I need to get to a friend’s holiday party, I’ll swap out the work shirt for one of Bonobos’ Italian Knit Blazers. It’s a quality piece that is 100% Italian cotton with light construction. The light grey is an easy color to pair with and this is definitely a jacket I can wear year-round!
Here are some favorite winter pieces that make great gifts:
